I read several reviews on saws before making this purchase. I agree with most of the positive reviews. I've only used it for a few hours, but it cuts through pine, plum and russian olive like butter.

I are very pleased with this saw. I don't like to garden with engines--I like guiet gardening. Hence, no power saw for me. But I had some shrubs with 5-inch-diameter trunks that were taking over the garden. I'm a petite female and am not in shape to use an axe, so I've been using this saw, wearing leather work gloves to pad my hands.

This saw is well worth the purchase price. Cuts through 2-4" limbs with ease. Doesn't bind like all of the bow saws I have used.

I have used it to fell small trees and have found it more convenient than breaking out the chain saw.
